BLACK OUT : Black Businesses You Can Support Right Now
I totally had a different post prepared for today but, talking about anything other than #blacklivesmatter would be inappropriate. Being a black person in America is hard work. All of us are filled with so many different emotions right now and we don’t know if we are going or coming. Yesterday we had #blackoutTuesday on social media and muted ourselves. It was a social media protest to bring light to the matters at hand. Black people are targeted, hated and killed for simply being black and quite frankly, WE ARE TIRED! Tired, but we are not giving up. So instead of my usual blogpost today I am sharing some black owned businesses, black creators, black writers and just some dope black people you can support. We as a people are undervalued and underappreciated, but that perspective can be changed. So, here are some amazing black businesses to support.
