What to Watch on Netflix

What to Watch on Netflix

Since the holiday break, I have been indulging in much television. Binge watching has become a thing of mine and I have been putting that Netflix subscription to much use. Netflix has become one of my besties as of late, but I was overwhelmed with all the options they offered. I was looking for some good shows and movies to watch, but I didn’t want to search through the thousands of titles. I thank Netflix for offering so many titles, but I have to say if you don’t know exactly what you are looking for, it can be overwhelminhg. So luckily for you I have a few suggestions to get your binge watch on.

You

If I’m being honest I wasn’t completely interested in this show at first. It began extremely slow. But after commiting to the first few episodes I decided to continue watching and I’m happy I did. This series illuminates the very question, “what would you do for love?” Main character Joe, crosses paths with aspiring writer Beck and that question posed becomes all too real. Joe becomes obsessed and removes any obstacle that gets in his way. You the song gangerous in love, by Beyonce? Yea! That’s Joe. In my opinion Season two is better than season one and has a very interesting plot twist. Check it out for yourself though.

Good Girls

My best friend suggested this show and I have been hooked ever since I started watching. Good girls is an American crime comedy-drama. Yes ALL THAT! Beth, Ruby and Annie are facing some real life financial crisis and need to figure a way out. To fix the issues at hand they decide to rob their local grocery store. All the drama unfolds from there. These ladies go from “regular” suburb moms to being on the FBI's radar. These ladies are relatable in their everyday lives. But they go great lengths to ensure that their families are “good.” Good Girls will have you laughing, crying and feeling all the feels in the most entertaining way. There are currently 2 seasons on Netflix. I highly recommend both. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Arrow

My husband and I binged watched all the seasons of Flash on netflix and decided to watch one of its brother series, Arrow. Although we loved Flash, Arrow has all the action we were looking for. Billionaire Oliver Queen is stranded on an island after the ship him, his father and his girlfriend’s sister goes under. That’s tea right there. After 5 years of being stranded he is recued and sent back to everyday life, but truths unfold along the way. Oliver learns that many people have failed his city and he feels it’s his responsibility to right their wrongs. He becomes the “vigilante” hero of the city, not everyone sees it that way. I’m currenytly on season 3 and am loving every minute of it. This show is filled with action and drama. It has become one of my faves. Check it out!

Netflix has thousands of titles to choose from, but these three series are highly recommended by me. Grab the popcorn, a bottle of wine and the remote and Netflix and chill. Have you watched any of these series? What are you currently watching on Netflix?
