Slow Down And Breathe

Slow Down And Breathe

“Slow down Sis" has been my mantra for the last couple weeks. I felt like my head was spinning so fast it would eventually fall off. Goals, goals, and more goals have been my life as of late. On top of goals there’s to do’s and a boat load of responsibilities. Life was becoming overwhelming and too heavy to carry. I just needed to stop and breathe.

Inhale…1,2,3,…Exhale. I am a very ambitious person. The finish line is MY thing. I am always trying to reach it. Life has been teaching me that the finish line isn’t everything though. If we run the race of life heading immediately to the finish line then what memories or experiences will we have to savor? Slow down! I’ve set blogging goals, sales goals, life goals, fitness goals, mommy goals, goals, goals, goals. Now I’m sitting here looking stupid trying to figure out life. So God told me to slow down. And as always when He speaks I shut up and listen.

Everything is not meant to be done speedily. Sometimes you just gotta breathe. And that’s what I’ve been doing. Just breathing. My good sis Ranata released her “breathe girl, breathe” tee right on time. It was the confirmation I needed. Always focusing on your moment to arrive is overwhelming. I ain’t gone lie sometimes just showing up can be overwhelming and you just need to breathe. Then there’s life’s new normal. You know virtual learning, social distancing, we are in the middle of a pandemic Chile. I salute all of you who are killing it in these times, but Chile it’s heavy on the slow down for me. I’m still setting and getting to my goals and doing life but, only one breath at a time! And this is a reminder for you to BREATHE!

How are you feeling? Are you crushing your goals or are you like me and need a minute?
